Mary Poppins in the wind weathervane for the Lubanko family gardens.
Mary’s torso has the greatest amount of detail.
Mary Poppins already looks like she’s floating.
Mary Poppins dress has been tinned and the coat added. Tinning is done by applying a tin alloy to the surface of the copper using heat. The color is permanent and never needs any maintenance.
The figure is ready to accept the accessories.
Making and testing (just kidding) the umbrella.
Umbrella, carpet bag, hat, and tinned breeze scrolls are added as well as the bronze finish and she is primed and ready for leafing, and enameling.
Preparing the details for gold leaf.
Gold and palladium leafing and red enameling is done and ready for clear coating.
