Payments & Deposits:
All products that will be delivered within one month must be paid in full. A deposit of 1/4 is required for all other orders. To pay by check, submit your order then mail in your check. All checks are cashed immediately. Please make checks payable to Ferro Weathervanes. Mail a personal, business, or cashier’s check with the total or prearranged deposit amount. Please allow time for personal checks to clear. All orders must be paid in full at pickup or before delivery. You can request to pay by credit card through PayPal if an item is in stock. Custom orders are not scheduled until the deposit is paid.
Shipping Charges are calculated by zip code. Cupola Plans and small items are mailed through the United States Postal Service. Most other items are shipped by UPS. Included in the shipping charge are packing, materials, labor, shipper charge, and insurance. Larger Items will be shipped freight. Freight shipments are quoted separately. You will be contacted with the details and charges. Wooden crates are an additional charge. Shipping, insurance, crating, and handling charges are non-refundable. Items to international locations will be shipped either UPS or USPS and additional charges will be required (see next section). Oversized packages will be charged accordingly and will be higher than the charges shown.
When a product is too large for UPS, it is packed to ship by truck freight. I have tried to be as accurate as I can with which products must go freight. I reserve the right to adjust as necessary once a product is packed whether it will go UPS or Freight. Packing charges are due on completion but Freight charges will be collected on arrival.
My products have been shipped throughout the world and I am glad to ship to any country where it is legal for me to do so. Please send your detailed order without shipping charges as directed. All International orders must be reviewed to be accepted for approval. An approval with an estimated shipping cost will be returned to you by email. Accurate shipping charges are determined once your order is packed. You will be invoiced for the amount at that time with any additional instructions necessary. Physically small items are mailed through the United States Postal Service. Larger items are sent either by Air Freight, when possible, or by surface. I work hard to find the best way to suit your needs.
Lifetime Guarantee on Hand-Sculpted Weathervanes:
I am proud of my workmanship and want you to be assured that I will always do what is necessary to maintain the integrity of my product as long as I possibly can. All Ferro Hand Sculpted weathervanes will be examined and repaired at my cost as I believe necessary. It is the responsibility of the customer to get their weathervane to us for inspection and repair. I will examine and repair, at my cost, any damage incurred from workmanship. I do not warranty any damage due to storms. Finishes are not part of this guarantee. Email for a quote if re-gilding is needed.

Returns must be made within 60 days of receipt. No refunds thereafter.
Shipping, insurance, crating, and handling charges are non-refundable.
Do not file a claim with the carrier if there is damage. Call Ferro Weathervanes immediately.
Authorization must be obtained before merchandise can be returned.
Once authorization is obtained I will arrange pickup/claims processing, etc.
I will not be responsible for shipping charges or claims without a return authorization.
Carefully re-pack merchandise in its original packaging if it is to be returned.

Refunds must be requested in writing within 90 days of receiving the product. Absolutely no refunds beyond 90 days.
The product must be returned before a refund is issued.
Deposits are non-refundable once work on a project begins.
If an order is marked as delivered on shipper tracking but you can not find it, check the property thoroughly and check with all neighbors. Most of the time it is found. If it is still missing, report the missing package to Ferro Weathervanes. Absolutely no refunds are given after 90 days. Before 90 days I will split the value of the order, minus shipping, 50/50 and you will receive a 50% refund or you can pay 50% of the weathervane’s value for a replacement.
Allow up to 30 days for a refund to be processed.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to report and pay sales tax on their purchase wherever required. Ferro Weathervanes has a physical presence in Rhode Island only and is exempt from sales tax through both the Enterprise Zone and Artists Acts.
