The cast iron mold for the mermaid’s right half. This mold is about 30 years old.

All the prep work to create 4 mermaids.

A piece of sheet copper is placed on top of the mold then stretched into the mold by hammering against it. Each part is carefully manipulated to faithfully reproduce the detail.
