Each side of the figure is hand cut from 100% copper sheet.

Initial details are embossed and drawn onto the sheet copper.

The sides of the figure are textured and stretched to the proper relief.

“Creating living creatures is my favorite thing, particularly mammals and humans. It’s the process of breathing life into them that really hits me. It’s a super emotional connection with the subject matter. This isn’t complete, but I like these mid process shots where you start to see a glimmer of life in them, and from there it’s just continuing to work it until it forms it’s own personality and life.”
