The Moritz’s asked for a bee weathervane that will complement their ultra modern shed.
This image shows the engineering in the bee’s head for the antennae and the front of the internal armature.

The copper cones for the bee’s body are hand shaped from one piece of sheet copper.
The bee body becomes apparent as the balls and cones come together. Copper tubing is being used to create raised bands around the body.
