This poor antique rooster has been damaged and repaired and damaged. It’s now time for a complete restoration.

A proper restoration starts with fully disassembling the figure then carefully sandblasting all the parts to bare copper then hammering out all the damage to its original shape.

The next step is reassembling all the parts exactly as they were..

A brand new perch, spindle tube and bearing to replace the old well worn parts.

The tail and its attachment was in the worst shape of the piece. It has been repaired, fortified, and reattached with an invisible brace.
