Narwhal weathervane.
First the body pieces are cut out then the details for the eyes and mouth are “chased” into the copper.
The copper sheet is stretched into shape.
The next step is to smooth the copper to hide all the tool marks.
The two halves of the body are soldered together.
The narwhal’s fins are next to be cut out and hammered into shape.
The completed weathervane.
