Our popular Narwhal Weathervane design.
First the body pieces are cut out then the details for the eyes and mouth are “chased” into the copper.
The copper is stretched to form the body one skilled hammer blow at a time.
Here the stretched copper is being smoothed out and shaped.
Once the two sides are formed, they are soldered together to form the body of the Narwhal .
