First the main side pieces are cut out then the detail is chased into the copper.

Next, the piece is flipped over and the spaces raised to form the body.

Once one side is ready, the other side is made to match.

The two main sides have been soldered together and the face, hands, and buttons tin plated for accent.

Adding the final touches like the collar and brim of the hat.
