I love making dog weathervanes and this running Jack Russel promises to be fun.

Starting off with the full size drawing and planning the parts.

Both sides of the of the figure are cut from flat sheet copper.

Tapping details into the copper sheet.

I’m starting the initial stretching and texturing of the copper.

All the parts have the initial form and texturing.

I am finished forming and texturing the individual parts.

Soldering all the parts together.

The dog figure is assembled and ready to be sanded, cleaned, and the finish applied.
