Salmon Weathervane, Dizoglio Project – completed

The salmon design to be made is planned out for translation to relief in copper sheet.
The design is transferred to the copper sheet then carefully cut out by hand.
First, details like embossing and texture are added to the surface of the copper.
The sides of the salmon have been formed and are ready to be soldered together.
Assembling the body and surveying the form.
The spindle tube has been added and the fins made and they are being soldered on.
The custom bronze finish has been added to the salmon.
