Once the parts are hand cut from sheet copper The detail lines are “chased into the face of the copper then the body and texture is simultaneously hand sculpted from the inside out.
The parts are ready for the final forming before the next step.
Soldering all the parts of the dove together.
The dove is made and cleaned.
The copper has been treated with specially formulated primer for the gold leaf.
The special glue was added and here we are applying the gold leaf to the surface.
The gold leaf is done and curing.
