Creating a custom Mediterranean Donkey on an arrow weathervane for the Kehler’s.

The main sides pieces are hand cut from copper sheet then details are hand embossed into the face of the copper.

Once the detail is hammered into the outside, the inside areas between the details is stretched and textured.

Facial features and muscle tone is added.

This piece is a 3/4 body form so it will have 4 separate legs. This requires carefully planned inserts to allow a fuller body.

Making and attaching the bodied arrow/donkey tail.

Special primer and enamel is added the donkey’s cross accent.
