Customer supplied artwork

The design is enlarged to full size and the detail planned.

Detail is marked and embossed into the copper by chasing the lines with specially shaped tools

The copper is stretched into shape from the inside using the repousse technique.

The two detailed fuselage sections are soldered together.

The tails are added to the fuselage and they are starting to look like helicopters.

Starting to add the details.

Devil is in the DETAILS!.


Cleaned and ready for paint.

Cutting the solid brass plate logos for the directionals.

The solid brass plate for the logos is welded to the directionals.

Applying the special copper primer.

Prime, sand, prime, sand, paint, sand, paint, sand……

Removing the masking from the next layer of colors.

Performing the final touches to the paint.
