Colors –The most common ball. Plain Round Balls can be found in every different size,
color and combination thereof from the earliest balls to present.
China is producing some also but they are not stained glass.
The color is a plastic coating inside a clear ball.
The color fades within a year or two.
A 6″ diameter ball with copper caps is definitely from China.
Notable – Newer balls are often marked with dimples,
dates, engraving etc to distinguish from old balls, but not all.
Cased glass and mercury colored balls are historically among the most valuable.
